NGS Updates for June 2025
Last week NGS released the Multiyear CORS Solution 3 (MYCS3) updates. This had many impacts including:
- Updated positions and velocities for all CORS in the NOAA CORS Network (NCN).
- New coordinate functions for NCN stations consistent with ITRF2020.
- OPUS will not provide solutions based in ITRF2020.
- RTN operators will likely be updating station coordinates.
This week multiple NSRS Modernization products were released into Beta. Moving these products from Alpha to Beta is a big deal since these products are expected to be close to what will be released once going to Production.
