PLSC offers members an exciting and interactive environment to grow and develop their land survey skills and abilities. To help members reach these requirements, PLSC has a variety of membership levels to reflect a members land surveying experience and education.
Any person who is a licensed land surveyor in the State of Colorado, and whose registration is in full effect, shall upon payment of $150 annual dues, be a voting member of P.L.S.C., Inc. and as such shall have in full voting and office holding privileges. P.L.S.C. Voting Membership includes membership in National Society of Professional Surveyors. (Article 1A1 By-Laws).
Any person who is interested in land surveying shall, upon payment of $75 annual dues, be an associate member of P.L.S.C., Inc., but shall have no voting or office holding privileges. (Article 1A2 By-Laws).
Any undergraduate student who is interested in land surveying shall, upon payment of $30 annual dues, be a student member of P.L.S.C., Inc., but shall have no voting or office holding privileges. (Article 1A3 By-Laws) Individuals holding a Colorado PLS or PE-PLS registration are not eligible for this class of membership.
A Colorado licensed Professional Land Surveyor who no longer practices land surveying (including fieldwork, office work, and consulting). He/she however may continue to maintain his/her license in effect and shall not be precluded from acting as an expert witness or court appointed commissioner. This is a non-voting classification. The annual dues shall be $60.
Any person or firm engaged in a business related to land surveying or interested in the land surveying profession shall, upon contribution of $230 annually, be a sustaining member of P.L.S.C., Inc., but shall have no voting or office holding privileges. (Article 1A2 By-Laws).
