Membership Certificate
IN ORDER TO MAKE THIS RECOGNITION MEANINGFUL:
A PLSC "MEMBERSHIP CERTIFICATE" and a one-year membership in the Professional Land Surveyors of Colorado, Inc., may be given at the Annual Meeting or other appropriate time of the year to those who have been selected in accordance with the following guidelines:
1. Shall be newly licensed and registered as a Professional Surveyor in the State of Colorado as provided by Title 12, Article 25, Colorado Revised Statutes, 1991 Repl. Vol., as amended.
2. Shall be designated by the Board of Directors of PLSC, Inc., in accordance with the listing from the State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Professional Land Surveyors.
3. Certificates and memberships may also be given to those selected by the Board on an honorary basis for their services and/or contributions to the surveying profession. This might include the Survey Quorum and the Program Administrator of the State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Professional Land Surveyors, officers of national surveying organizations, highly respected educators and speakers, and others.
The PLSC "MEMBERSHIP CERTIFICATE" shall consist of a certificate containing the PLSC logo and an appropriate inscription and shall be suitable for wall or desk display.
"PLSC MEMBERSHIP CERTIFICATES" will also be made available to the general membership at an appropriate cost.
Amendments to this proposal shall be by the Board of Directors of PLSC, Inc.
Appropriate notice of the newly licensed and registered surveyors will be provided for in an announcement in SIDE SHOTS. Each PLSC Chapter will be encouraged to publicize this announcement as well as to welcome these new members into their organizations with suitable actions.
